Daksum is a small mountain village and forest retreat in Anantnag district, set beside the Bringi River on the road toward Sinthan Top. Dense conifer forests, cold streams and surrounding trails give it a quieter character than Kashmir's larger resorts. The area also serves as a gateway toward higher mountain landscapes and nearby protected forest.
