The feeling of Hirpora Wildlife Sanctuary

Hirpora Wildlife Sanctuary spreads across the Pir Panjal in Shopian district. Its landscape rises from temperate forests through subalpine scrub and pastures toward high rocky terrain. The sanctuary protects important Himalayan wildlife including the Pir Panjal markhor, musk deer, black and brown bears, wolves and numerous bird species across a broad and rugged mountain ecosystem.
