About the place

The feeling of Peer Ki Gali

Peer Ki Gali, also known as Pir Panjal Pass, is the highest point on the historic Mughal Road. The pass crosses the Pir Panjal between the Kashmir Valley and the Poonch-Rajouri side, with alpine meadows, snowfields and high ridges surrounding the road. A small shrine and the historic route add cultural significance to its dramatic mountain setting.
