The feeling of Kishtwar National Park

Kishtwar National Park protects a rugged high-altitude landscape northeast of Kishtwar town. Its terrain includes temperate forests, alpine scrub, meadows, rocky ridges, glaciers and deeply cut valleys. The park provides habitat for Himalayan wildlife, including the snow leopard, and spans a dramatic elevation range across remote catchments feeding the Marwah river system.
