About the place

The feeling of Buddha Park

Buddha Park, also known as Tathagata Tsal, lies near Ravangla and centres on a 130-foot seated Buddha statue. Created to commemorate the 2550th birth anniversary of Gautama Buddha, the landscaped complex became part of Sikkim’s Himalayan Buddhist circuit. Forested hills surround the park, combining pilgrimage, architecture and open mountain scenery within one of southern Sikkim’s best-known spiritual sites.
