Khecheopalri Lake is a sacred freshwater lake in Gyalshing district, enclosed by forest and revered by both Buddhist and Hindu communities. The lake forms part of West Sikkim's wider pilgrimage landscape with Yuksom, Pemayangtse and Tashiding. Its quiet waters, ritual significance and wooded surroundings make it both a spiritual destination and an ecologically sensitive mountain wetland.
