About the place
The feeling of Namchi
Namchi is the headquarters of Namchi district and one of southern Sikkim’s principal towns. Built across green hills at about 1,676 metres, it overlooks valleys and distant Himalayan ranges. The town is an excellent base for Samdruptse, Siddheshwar Dham and nearby monasteries, while local markets, festivals and hillside neighbourhoods give it an identity beyond its surrounding attractions.
