About the place

The feeling of Namdapha National Park

Namdapha National Park and Tiger Reserve protects one of India’s most biologically diverse mountain landscapes. The park rises from low tropical forest near the Noa-Dihing to temperate and alpine habitats above 4,500 metres. Tigers, leopards, clouded leopards and snow leopards occur across different elevations, while the enormous variation in forest type makes Namdapha exceptional even within biodiversity-rich Arunachal Pradesh.
