About the place

The feeling of Nathula Pass

Nathula is a high Himalayan pass on the historic trade route between Sikkim and Tibet. The road climbs beyond Tsomgo Lake through exposed alpine terrain to the international frontier. Its strategic history, extreme elevation and sweeping mountain setting make it unlike a conventional viewpoint. Access is regulated, weather-dependent and subject to permits and operational restrictions.
