About the place
Sela Pass is one of Arunachal Pradesh's best-known high mountain crossings, carrying the road between Dirang and Tawang through the Sela Range. Snow, exposed ridges and nearby sacred lakes define the landscape for much of the year. The pass sits on the Tawang-West Kameng boundary, making it both a geographic threshold and a dramatic part of the journey into Tawang.
