Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine lies high in the Trikuta hills of Reasi district. Pilgrims travel from Katra to the Bhawan, where the sacred cave houses the three natural Pindies representing the Goddess. The mountain route, devotional atmosphere and scale of the annual yatra make it one of the most significant pilgrimage destinations in India.
