Bomdila Monastery, commonly associated with the Upper Gompa or Gontse Gaden Rabgyel Lling, is one of West Kameng's important Buddhist institutions. Established in the twentieth century, the complex includes a prayer hall and monastic learning spaces inspired by Tibetan traditions. Its hilltop position above Bomdila also opens broad views across the surrounding mountain landscape.
