About the place
Sangla lies on the right bank of the Baspa River in one of Kinnaur's most beautiful valleys. Traditional homes rise along the slopes above fertile fields, while forests and snow-covered peaks frame the settlement. Its position makes Sangla an excellent base for exploring Kamru, Rakchham, Chitkul and the deeper landscapes of the Baspa Valley.
