Sangti Valley lies near Dirang in West Kameng district, surrounded by forested mountains and crossed by a fast-flowing hill river. Apple, kiwi and other orchards cover parts of the valley, while farms and small settlements retain a strongly rural character. The landscape is also known for seasonal visits by black-necked cranes, adding ecological importance to its pastoral setting.
